I agree. Some of these "by the time I was" posts read as self serving ego inflaters, it's almost embarrassing to read - I certainly couldn't care less. If you were so accomplished by 23, you'd think you'd also have the sense that everybody is on their own path. Not defending the OP by amy means, but if there were other issues at hand with the 23 year old, her age suddenly isn't the most important factor here. Anxiety/panic disorder, etc.
