In fact they didn't quite turn out as good as they should have been. Mother in law interfering with the cooking time didn't help.....plus I had to go easy on the alcohol because of her.
There are many versions of this about.
Using a well ripened banana works best. Don't peel it just make a cut along the length of it where you can put in a couple of spoonfuls of brown sugar, the butter,chocolate and a generous measure of alcohol (dark rum works best) and bake till the sugar melts and starts bubbling. Serve the whole thing with cream or ice cream....you really need to have a sweet tooth to enjoy it.
Have you tried bananas foster? Unless this is a sibling recipe...
