1/3 DCA-MSP upgraded 5 days out on T
1/3 MSP-PHX upgraded 5 days out on T
1/6 PHX-MSP got a call from a PHX agent at my hotel about 3 hours before flight time. He told me there was an equipment change PHX-MSP and they were short 2 first class seats -- would I be willing to fly PHX-ATL-DCA instead on about the same schedule. I explained that I hadn't gotten the upgrade yet; he took a few seconds and said okay -- he would still switch me and upgrade PHX-ATL-DCA. I took him up on the offer and ended up getting home about 30 minutes early.
Actually flew PHX-ATL with upgrade
1/6 MSP-DCA upgraded 5 days out on T -- surprised -- this is the Sunday evening flight which used to be a very difficult upgrade and a gold mine for VDB, but maybe since Congress is adjourned?
