I also want to point out that your post isn't entirely clear what airline you're flying. If you're flying AA, this thread is the right place. If you're flying BA, this question is best posed in the BAEC forum (though you'll be restricted to just one lounge, T5 Galleries First). If you're not flying either airline, you will not get lounge access by virtue of your AA status.

Thanks for all the information and guidance. Yes I am flying AA and probably with time permitting have a look at T5 Gallieries FIRST in addition to T3 F lounges.
