Here are the latest CX cut-cost measure w.e.f. 01/01/2013:

1) KA will no longer serve hot meal for all Taiwan and Manila routes in economy class
2) CX will serve only BOX MEALS for CX791 and CX798

Probably, some days later CX will turn into another BA, only provide breakfast for Euro Traveller and snacks for other period.

updates: KA will still serve hot meal for KHH and RMQ routes. Yet, TPE and MNL will still be served with bread only for economy class.
