I dont remember AA has raised levels on all the changes / updates people mentioned.

AA did put China into Asia 2 to align it with HKG - so in essence, the miles to China went up because the change on the classification of region. But AA did not revise the miles required on the award chart when it changed from round trip to one way system and of course the big devaluation was the elimination of general stopover but only allowed a more restricted North America gateway stopover.

That is the relevant point the OP wants to know. He probably does not care about the restrictions put on after S3 joined, or the new flight to Korea as these are not his intent to use the miles if you guys read the first post - he wants to go to China, not Russia nor Korea.
