Ok, I read the last several pages on the new China regulation but am still not sure I understand everything. I am flying JFK-LAX-PVG arriving March 20th and staying for 6 days. My Chinese visa expires right before the flight. Was going to get a new visa but then realized, I could just book a short flight to hong kong. Spending 2 and 1/2 days in PVG then a day in hong kong and returning spending 2 and 1/2. Is that right or is the 72 hours total for a week or month?
