Get rid of sandwich meals and replace it box meals? Better food in my opinon and cheaper I guess. On High Speed (高鐵) out of Kaoshuing they have meal boxes for lunch and dinner at NT$120 (about US$4 retail bought on board) made by Kaoshuing Airport Kitchen, out of Taipei its made by TransAsia Airlines, I guess if bought in bulk its much cheaper. Maybe save a US$1 or more per passenger, could be a million US$ per year. Or even box meals from 7-11 (Taiwan's version). I seldonfly outof TPE on CX in Y, so forgot what they sereved, still wonder why out of KHH in Y has better food for the shorter flight?
