My first clue that it would not be a good stay was that it was independently owned, I would have left, but I paid with points. I called Marriott Gold guest line and come to find out this property has had prior complaints.
I wasn't looking for a freebie, I was just irked that I wasted points when I could have stayed at a Residence Inn, etc, etc for less points.
I guess Santa didn't get my letter.........
Am I missing something? What prevented you from staying at the Residence Inn for less points? Is the Residence Inn independently owned? Guess I'm just missing the actual complaint here.
