Actually no use calling AA to do it.. as the info is for AA flights only as the AA res will not pass the info to the the departing flight if your arrival is delayed.

BEST is for you to call EY and advise them of your arriving and departing flights and they cross reference the bookings as its their flights.

But having said that... your transit time is 10 hours !! Doubt you will be delayed much !! When you check in and ask that your bags be checked through, EY will have all the connecting information on their systems anyway. So no need to worry about this little thing really.
