Seriously. None of the posts were that bad to merit the apologetic moaning that is going on from some corners.

As had been said. If the OP had worded his original post in a more balanced manner, then he would have most likely got more balanced worded replies. Instead, by going on about "red tape" and "BA are having a laugh" he somewhat set the stage in terms of being told to manage his expectations.

Others have pointed out that if you're going to be shelling out of your own pocket for a ticket for a holiday, one would expect you to do some research on your destination before commiting. I'm not going to comment on that side of the argument other than to say what those posters said seemed to make sense to me.

I think we perhaps need to consider letting this thread die a quiet death ? At 11 pages its already longer than it needs to be.... ;-)
