I was hopin someone can help me understand what is happening with upcommin award reservations on Virgin Australia that I made using skymiles.

I have eticket numbers for both reservations and I called to select seats on long-haul flights from the US to Australia.

But when I look at my delta receipt, one reservation shows the status of each leg as "open" and the other reservation shows the status of each leg as "arpt."

I see from the post below that "arpt" means airport control by the operating airline, but I am not clear what "open" means.

Is there any cause for concern here? Since both reservations have the exact same itinerary and are scheduled to depart in about 20 days, why is one under "arpt" but not the other? I would appreciate any advice anyone can offer.
