Agree that the location is terrible for a W in Bangkok.

The only time I have stayed in that area was when I worked on Sathorn Road near the Chong Nongsi BTS station; and I never liked the atmosphere there. It's a kind of "third world" financial district, not fun at all and nearly dead in the evenings.

So, I probably wouldn't stay there even if the reviews were great; but with the reviews so bad, there is no way I would stay there.

Wow. Such a mistake to put W in that area! Should have been Sukhumvit or some other young area with nightlife and excitement outside the property doors.
