There is no telling when and if AA would change its award chart again.
You do realize that a ticket has only 12 months validity started from the date the ticket is issued. So your statement of "travel later" needs to have a time line.

I was actually talking about reinstall my miles for a $150 fee if necessary. From your words it sounded like if I book an award ticket and decide to travel later, I can simply change the dates to fly within 12 months? Does that involve any charge?
