Although for me I can clearly see the different levels, I don't blame Charles for making this mistake from a marketing perspective.

In the end, yes it is his fault for not reading the fine print but based on that picture you can't be for sure if 40 K = 4K x 2. But slightly deceptive marketing is how everyone operates so take this as a lesson learned and read the fine print next time.


Besides, 4K ae is nothing. I transferred 300K Amex MR to Aeroplan fully knowing that a transfer bonus was coming(Amex was excluded so I missed out on nothing lol), so don't trip about it too much...Live and learn
