I just got a letter today from American express.
"We are writing to let you know that we have credited $100 and 4000 miles to your account. At the time of your approval for Delta Credit Card we experience a system error and may not have been able to provide you with an instant Account Number online. We apologize for any inconvenience this may be caused."
Interesting, I don't think I got the $100 statement credit but no complaints from me. Thanks for clarifying.
