Craz, I really appreciate any info you can get me umbrella rental wise. Being able to afford point wise the ES isn't a problem for me but I do have a problem paying 114k points per night for a embassy suites that would only cost me $319 per night.
One more question, any idea if I can rent a car for a day thru Hertz or any other national chain at any of the beachside hotels or do I have to go back to the airport for that?
I have a Hertz rental my last day since I have to get out of the Hotel say noonish and my flight isnt till 10pm. Now although there are several HZ locations only 1 worked for me the 1 @ The Hyatt thats since they close at 9Pm while most others closed anywhere from 1-3pm and some charge if you return after hours since the car has to parked in the Hotels garage and probably not in their alloted spots. Across the street from the Hilton is the Marriott but they close up @ 3PM, personally I wouldnt want to drop off my car unless then and there it gets checked out etc etc otherwise any damage done to it after you parked it but before they offically check it in is on your hands.
So the Marriott will be alot closer the Hyatt is an extra couple of blocks along the beach, but if you wont be returning it before 3Pm Id go with The Hyatt where Im sure by 9PM you will be back
Most hotels charge charge an arm and leg to park in their lot so if you dont need the car the next morning best to do as I am and rent and return from HZ @ The Hyatt and drop it off before they close, and even if you do need it the next morn if its for after they are open and you wont be getting back after 9PM Id rent and return and rerent
btw the only reason its 114k is they seem to have soldout of their Standard rooms which are reg 50k and 40k for a Diamond, and thusly all they have left are Premium rooms. If you prefer the ES keep checking back until your CX time comes into play and if it opens up garb it for 40K.The HHV is 40k for Diamonds reg its 50k
