Compensation for delayed luggage
In the summer of 2011, on my flight from Vancouver to Narita/Tokyo, AC left my luggage in Vancouver. Upon arrival I was notified right away that I would be getting it one day late.
ONLY AFTER I ASKED FOR IT, an All Nippon Airways agent, after checking and confirming it with the AC office at the airport, agreed to pay me C$300 (equivalent in Japanese Yen) for the inconvenience. The luggage was cleared through the customs by ANA/AC and delivered to my hotel in Tokyo on the following day.
