The background for us was this trip was three friends using United first class reward mile redemption's.

We did solve the question I had read on a few different blogs/reviews mentioned as to why the first class section seems warmer and how a passenger can correct it. It appears that the crew closes all of the air vents in first class as part of their cabin preparations. As we were the only passengers in first class (there were two relief pilots in the back of the first cabin) we went around and opened all the vents. This kept the air fresh and the cabin cooler and very comfortable.

I hope you enjoy the Pictures.

Thanks again to everyone that was so helpful!

Thanks for all the photos. My wife and I are booked in F from FRA to ICN in May and the configuration is the same. Your photo is the best shot I've seen of the 2 F seats that are together. I've read that they feel cramped compared to those along the windows, but we liked seeing them so close to make conversation easier.

The only thing I missed was not seeing a photo of how they made up the seats for sleeping.

Really looking forward to the trip in May (we're outbound ICN-LHR in Quadra Business), and your photos have heightened the anticipation.
