Gosh, i'm BOS based and my upgrade success is about 30%, maybe 40% being an EXP. I haven't had much luck the F cabin is full and i'm looking at upcoming flights first wk of Jan to and from DFW from BOS and it's nearly full in Economy. Dunno whats going on but just not pleased - either there are too many EXPs or something but i appreciate when i get a bump and if not, the sandwich and cocktail or red wine will do just fine... if i can get an exit or bulk head... which is also becoming tougher... i think they should block exit/bulk head for plat and exp only... or open it up to gold maybe 72 hours prior or something...

And then AA is now about to cut the BOS-LHR route... which was the key reason I moved to AA... 2013 i'll be thinking where I spend my money.... unlike most, I love the narrow body 757 to London, in Y or C...
