Just wanted to share my positive experience. Bought my wife of 7 years an upgraded engagement ring. Bought diamond and setting separately. Had stone insured prior to delivery, planned to have the entire ring appraised and insured. She lost the thing before I even had the chance. Not happy. Anyway filed a claim with AMEX for the setting, which was >$5000, and all they wanted to see was the receipt. Credit on my account days later. Excellent service. Still waiting for the other insurance company to come through on the payout for the diamond.
