OT: Many years ago, not long after Mrs Shorthauldad passed her driving test, we drove together in Italy. She drove for a bit, but kept getting hooted at. Eventually she asked me why this was happening ... my response:
"probably because you're (the only one) sticking to the speed limit" 
She's older, wiser (and faster) now...!
