Reward seats are released by the operating carrier and is dependent on their standard operating procedures and/or methodology (ie. each airline and revenue management staff responsible may act differently). Also some may be released real time, while others are batch released at midnight local time. There may also be instances that seats are released due to cancellation by another pax.
