Why not try openskies from JFK or EWR?

Can't comment on the hard product as I haven't got my flight till march...

Pluses for us

1. Detour via Paris gets us a a mini break in the trip....can see how this would be a disadvantage mind.

2. Try a CE connection via Paris and earn greater tier points as we are

3. The Food and service is allegedly more personal, and with a longer flight time and less persons in the biz cabin should be a sound nights sleep?

4. 757 biz cabin only has a small cabin of about 20 odd seats I think so might be an option worth considering

5. It's far cheaper in biz bed than the equivalent on BA......

Having said all that were flying back from JFK on the sleeper service in CW as it suited us more and you can't beat BA j class on the red eye IMHO.
