Costco in Japan only accepts the American Express card. I have an AmEx card for the sole purpose of using it for Costco purchases.
My understanding of Tokyu is that they only give points if you use a Tokyu credit card. My primary grocery store (Life Market) gives points (1% cash back effectively) for CC purchases. I think Maruetsu does not give points if you buy by CC but it depends on the cashier.

But back to the main topic. I would guess that 90% of Michelin take CC.

p.s. I think I have seen old ladies at Tokyu present cash and a Tokyu CC. So I guess you can pay cash and get points.
