While flying home a couple of days ago, I had a guy who worked for Southwest sitting next to me. He said he is in charge of Facility Maintenance mostly for the West Coast stations. He mentioned he kept hearing Hawaii starts in the 4th Quarter of 2013 because of the training that involves Flight Attendants. The pilots had already trained for over water emergencies he claims.
