We passed by on the way to the Intercontinental last week: exterior works are completed and the IC staff also mentioned an opening date around April...
Had platinum desk call the hotel for us and they will be taking bookings from Jan 2013, and have read they are reopening as a Westin, stayed 3 times at this hotel and really enjoyed it, great upgrades, and packages, food really good and at a pricepoint reasonable for Mauritius, hope they dont change too much when rebranding
