This is definitely the Pullman. They announced that Pullman MoE would go to unspecified US operator when the Pullman Deira CityCentre officially launched after its refurb from the CityCentre Hotel. My understanding is that MAF (the owners) have a portfolio which they think is very European brand focused (think about 90% of their properties are Accor + they have the Kempinski at MoE) and wanted a property with more brand recognition in some other target markets. I'd guessed Marriott / Rennaisance, as MAF have signed with them for their Bahrain CityCentre development (+ the old Dubai Rennaisance and proposed one in the Marina have changed to a CP and IC respectively so there is room in market) so this is a pleasant surprise.
