Courtyard Dallas Plano in Legacy Park (Plano, Texas, aka Far North Dallas)

It really was a dark late rainy night and I didn't want to try my long commute home on a wet road, through construction, with bad visibility.

Room appeared not that old, but furniture worn. Clean and quiet, but the bed looked like I had made it. (Meaning I'm male, have been married for decades, and was never in the army. That should let you create your own word picture). Computers were slow and randomly logged off, but they did work, and they had more than one.

Bistro was closed and nothing else walking distance. (I think the FDC said it was permanently only open in the morning, but perhaps I misunderstood and its only seasonal closure. Call and clarify if that makes a difference).

To me most Courtyards are sort of the Hotels at Laodicea. I can't figure out the intended vibe. This one didn't change my confusion.

You pay a premium to stay in Plano (which is booming, but you are almost out of town going north). By way of comparison, for half the money or less than you can drive 7-10 miles back south to Addison or the Galleria and get a similar room in an older location, or for about the same money in a full serve. Pick what makes the most sense to you.
