As soon as it is in the same ticket, CX (as MSC) baggage can be applied.

You will for sure be able to check-in 3 baggages. The only issue is - any AAngels know how to do it with the least trouble.
I wrote AA and got the same answer, no 3rd bag. The 3rd bag is for CX DM only and thus not applicable to the OW carriers nor MSC rule.
