In the past, I've heard carolers in the TATL gate areas at AMS on December 23 and 24. They seemed to be a church groups of young people, although once it was a group of youth who were traveling that day--apparently their flight was delayed and the adult leaders suggested this as a way to pass the time for them.

On TPAC flights exMSP on December 24 and 25, flights have been amazingly full at times, but the one I particularly remember as being packed seemed to be due to snow and IROPs the day before; the plane filled during the last 24 hours. I rememberr thinking that many/most of the passengers seemed to be fairly young-looking Asian people, and I told myself that they were grad students in coach and postdocs in BE, with maybe some faculty members too.
