If you don't want to deal with KA's search engine, consider signing up with AwardNexus.com. It is free award search engine that allows you to search for Skyteam award availability. All you need is your flyertalk access info to sign up and you will get 200 credits/points to begin searches. Just try to keep your searches basic so that you don't go through your points too quickly.
