You will for sure be able to check-in 3 baggages. The only issue is - any AAngels know how to do it with the least trouble.
Since when is the ticket allow 3 pieces anyway? He can check in 3 piece because of DM and CX quite explicitly said this is for CX operated and marketed flights ONLY.
