Nice to see competition on all these routes to bring fares down, although PNH-BKK had already several carriers (TG and PG).
This route has TG, PG and FD. AF pulled out last year.
It's unlikely I'd fly K6 between the two cities but it would nice if it pulled down PG's ever escalating prices. The r/t on PG began the year at $204 and it's now sitting at $264 as the cheapest purchase; two $10 per segment YQ raises followed by elimination of the cheapest fare class (axed Q, now selling H) resulting in another $10 per segment increase.
