Just used GE for the first time flying from GVA-EWR and customs was a breeze. There were probably 100+ people waiting in line, I walked up to an unused terminal and printed it within 60 seconds, presented it to a customs agent who stamped it, then walked through to baggage claim and presented the form to an angry agent who stamped it and I was done. Whole process took maybe 5-10 minutes!
Two questions:
(1)was the agent angry (general demeanor) or angry at
you
(2)I arrive at JFK (T8 = AA), after I print my GE ticket (except on two occasions), the next CBP agent I meet is the customs person, who takes my slip and I'm out the door.

[I fly with carry-on only, so from the time I reach the GE terminal to the time I exit, is generally no more than 2-3 minutes.]
