Today, the points from purchasing my eGiftCards posted to my MR Account. The purchase was treated as a Marriott purchase, receiving 5x points per dollar spent.

A $200 FS stay paid for with the eGiftCard that was charged to a Marriott Visa and purchased during the promo period nets 6,500 points.
- Points for stay: 2,000
- Plat 50% bonus: 1,000
- Welcome Gift: 500
- eGiftCard Bonus: 2,000
- Marriott Visa: 1,000
This is 2,000 more than without the eGiftCard.
