Yes I know. Sorry was typing on my little phone screen, I meant to say the forex
rates, which in past experience is worse for Amex. Maybe that's changed but I wasn't going to bet on it when I have other cards to choose from. My ATM withdrawal was for a small amount, last minute urgent cash purchase so I didn't worry about it.

Can you tell us the foreign location(s) and was the exchange rate competitive?
I imagine for places like Canada and Europe it should be no problem but for some countries where they have their own currencies, the exchange rates might not be as competitive as using other debit cards, given this is an AMEX product.
