It might have been listed in their Plat amenity brochure or it might have had something to do with how they did the Plat alternative amenity for the resort fee, which IIRC was reduced from $20 to $10.

ADDED: Sorry, I was confused. I had a AAA rate which included breakfast in the restaurant. I think I ordered from the menu rather than being forced to take continental or a buffet.
Others have reported that a credit of $16.50 per person was given which I insisted upon given that I had friends who also received this. The property seems to be determined to move away from this however,

Breakfast at Bank was rather good in the end however. I just hate being restricted to the same choice very day. It is about time Starwood had a brand standard which specified that Plat should be able to upgrade their breakfast for a maximum specified fee (e.g. $10). Cornfakes, coffee, juice and croissant is not really a breakfast I want on a daily basis.,
