Lots of people jumped on it last year when AA stopped counting NON FLYING miles towards lifetime status. I myself converted my regular AA Citi card to this last year. Aside form the EQM, the card also comes with Admiral Club membership. There is a thread on Ft about this card and its benefits.
Currently lots of people are debating on keeping the card, as the miles will no longer count for MILLION MILE status. There's some speculation that Citi will have to do something with the card, as members are downgrading or dropping the card.
