I would like to know about this as well. I actually had NO IDEA about this benefit. Wow. I felt like I had a pretty good handle on all of the bene's of the card. This is a great perk - Chase should make it more visible.
We just booked at an InterContinental that is part of the LHR Collection but I went through hotels.com because there is an additional 4 points/dollar via the UR Mall. But I'd love to take advantage of the possible upgrade and also breakfast by showing that I have a CSP card.
If no one knows, would this be something to call Chase about? Or InterContinental?
EDIT: I did some searching on the LHR website. From the FAQ:
If I book a reservation directly with the hotel, will I still get my complimentary Guest Privileges?
No, you have to make your reservation at The Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection website or by calling a Travel Specialist at 1-866-973-2912.
So presumably, the same would apply if the hotel is booked via an external website, UR Mall, etc. Seems like the only way to get the benefit, is to book through the LHR site itself.
