Also glad that I'm not the only one to notice this issue. Last week I was booking a flight for myself and three companions CLE-BTV. We wanted the 5:55PM flight to ORD the connected to BTV. United.com would not show that flight as an option when input as a simple round trip. What was further frustrating - and quite frankly deceiving - was when I did a multi city CLE-ORD, ORD-BTV, BTV-CLE it showed a significantly higher price (~$495) when displaying the 5:55PM CLE-ORD. I finally selected that flight just to see what happens and it takes me to the next screen with the ORD-BTV option (there was only one) and voila it was available and at the $241 price that it should have been. The system should not work like that and it's very frustrating, whatever the reason.
