The exact fee that KLM pays isn't general public information, but charges are somewhere between 1,5% and 4% (!). For instance AMEX is one of the most expensive cards for a vendor to accept. Therefore the fee can be much higher then would you expect.

Isn't there going to be new legislation in Dutch law in 2013 which will forbid charging any amount for such payment?!
