1. You met the MCT. So it was on CX, but not your problem.

2. Your baggage should have the highest priority giving you travel in F. So 2+2=4, which make the situation looks worse for CX.

They should - at least for the necessary essential items.

As UA's term, they are not compensation, but "goodwill gesture" that "retain" customers.
