PS: Had to chase down a staffer who confirmed my (empty) lot number and then instead of fixing the issue tried to upsell me on a GL Class Merc for 175US$ upgrade a day which he generously offered to cut in half. Wow I mean I book a 35$ car and then am going to pay and extra 85US$ on top of it?

Anyways, other available upgrade was an Infinity M37 for 99US$ (or make that 50$ at half price). Gold choice had very limited options with a Nissan Sentra, Mazda 3 (I took that one),. Hundai Elantra and a Chevy Cruze. That was it. Otherwise and empty Gold choice lot without any full-size cars at all which comes with the holidays I guess. Ohh and the Mazda 3 had a Pennsilvanya plate and 43K mls on the clock though it still drove alright.
