In the real world we call this time "when the job is done".

No not just because someone wants it to stay open, the question was in regards to a weather event causing delays. In that context yes lazy would be an apt description, among a few others I can think of.

Boohoo, guess what the customers have places to go as well, further it'd not be out of the "goodness of their heart" I mean come on, how do you expect to be taken seriously with nonsense like that? They wouldn't be getting paid for their time? (no need to answers that, we all know the answer)
If the club stayed open every single time there was a delay on at least one flight from that airport, it would never close on time. Furthermore, it's not like the posted hours are necessarily until the last flight of the day leaves anyway, so why does it need to stay open for every single flight? The club being open is not necessary for the "job to be done" -- the GAs and the crew are the ones responsible for that and they're staying there until the flights go out. There's no need for the club staff to stay there.

I think it's nice when they leave the club open, but I don't feel like it's being disrespectful of the customer when they don't. Sounds pretty DYKWIA.
