one TK flight that was in "U" class (Comfort Class). Those miles posted routinely to my UA Mileage Plus account in about 10 days.
Unfortunately for me, my other
seven legs on TK (over two itineraries) were in "G" class. "G" class on TK is supposed to earn 100% PQM and RDM on UA. TK refused to issue credit following the flights, however. UA initially followed-up and TK refused a second time on grounds that "G" is a non-earning class. Now UA is sending a so-called "validation request" to TK.
Its bad enough that TK won't honor its Star Alliance agreement, but UA enforces a useless regimen of waiting periods interspersed with polite requests to TK which are inevitably declined. All this busy work does nothing to address the underlying policy misunderstanding embraced by TK. There needs to be a management-to-management resolution. I've got about 40,000 miles left to be credited, so I'm not going away.
