Hey Adam. Are you referencing the older 321 Visa that offered up to 5000 PQM for purchases made on United.com? I have that card as well, and I remember reading somewhere that the PQMs take effect when the miles are visible on your MP statement, not the date the purchase was made, and also not the date it was posted to your Visa. If that's the case, then anything not visible on your MP statement by the end of the day December 31st applies to your 2013 PQMs. I would figure the this would be because your PQM balance zeros out on 1/1. And it takes some time before those PQMs are added to your MP statement.

Now I could be wrong on that. But if I were you, since you are so close, I'd call Visa, find out for sure, and get it in an e-mail from them with the name of the person you spoke with. And verify with MP as well. At least you have time to take a quick flight before the end of the year if necessary. Does anyone know if flight miles completed on 12/31/12 apply toward 2012 PQMs, or if they are added to your account once the miles post on your MP statement a day or two later?
