My experience of trying to use GPUs during 2012 has been pretty wretched (admittedly mostly on hard-upgrade routes like EWR-TLV) - they have failed to clear about half the time... and I ended up with 2 "to spare"...
Just venting.
Ditto here. I haven't even been able to clear my GPUs on lousy domestic/CPU eligible routes, much less international routes. They have become worthless.
