i was fine with this inten until i realized that i have 80 minutes to transfer at O'Hare (my home airport). normally this would be fine, but transferring from the int'l terminal to alaska's terminal after customs etc. can be a painful process. add that to the fact that my mom and sis are on the cdg-sea flight i was thinking of tweeting DL assist the evening before to see if they could put me on the cdg-sea flgiht instead. that flight is showing only 5 people in J (two of whom are my mom and sis.
What do you all think? Am I just wasting time? Should I try at the gate?
Btw Paris is lovely when you're here in the city and not in the airport. Just got back from an awesome dinner on Montamarte Hill. I heart Paris ... to bad CDG isn't more enjoyable

OP didn't mention flight numbers, but I'll observe DL 593 CDG-ORD is scheduled to arrive at 1:50 pm, and AS 29 ORD-SEA is scheduled to depart at 3:30 pm. That's 100 minutes (not 80), and official MCT for this connection is 90 minutes.
My suggestion would be to tweet NOW vs the night before, in order to see if DL will consider doing anything for you. If you wait until the night before, DL's hands might be tied if CDG works like AMS and PNRs transfer to local airport control.
