That said, the DL system absolutely maintains both lists! One time out of LAX I called out the GAs (nicely) when I held back boarding, as I was showing #1 on the UG monitor. When I inquired about an F seat, they asked my name and I was told that I was #4. I pointed to the screen showing #1. They said that wasn't the original list. I told them that I was told by DL corporate that boarding takes you off the list. The GAs said - - Here at LAX we don't do it THAT WAY!
